Oy Scancool Ab delivers heat pump HP 291 to the Fortum Oyj at the food factory of Ruoka-Saarioinen in Sahalahti Finland. Heat load of the heat pump is 1.4MW:n and the energy is used to produce hot process water and space heating. Heat pump uses totally free condensing heat from ammonia refrigeration plant. It is predicted that the heat pump will save 600 t oil and 1400 t carbon dioxide annualy. Oy Scancool Ab is responsible of design, contracting and heat pump delivery of the project. Heat pump will be on full production at the start of the year 2010.
