Oy Scancool Ab delivers refrigeration devices to the town of Trondheim in Norway for ice stadium and speed skating rink. Refrigerant is a natural refrigerant, ammonia, and the refrigeration capacity of the plant is 1900 kW. Energy efficiency has been taken into consideration in the plant design. For example all the compressors, pumps, blowers of dry coolers are frequency controlled. In addition, the delivery includes also a heat pump with ammonia refrigerant and with heating power of 600 kW.
