Oy Scancool Ab delivers a heat pump system to Russia

The delivery includes a heat pump system installed in a container. Heat pump produces 1.7MW district heating power to the needs for the town Baikalsk located in Siberia by recovering waste heat from cleaned waste water of the local waste water treatment plant. Heat pump system is equipped with automatic washing system of the waste water heat exchanger to ensure reliable energy production around the year.

The customer is Irkutskenergo, which is the second largest heat power producer and the third largest electric power producer in Russia.
